Trade – Industrial Olimp Company Limited, a cyanide transporter in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has informed the International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) of its voluntary withdrawal as signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code due to adverse business conditions. The company informed ICMI that it plans to return to the program at a later date, after resolving issues on the delivery of cyanide from the manufacturer. The company joined the program on August 4, 2011, and its operation did not achieve Cyanide Code certification prior to its withdrawal, which is effective this date.
