ICMI to Hold Training Workshop in Accra, Ghana on October 25, 2007

The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) will hold a training workshop on implementing and auditing the International Cyanide Management Code on October 25, 2007 in Accra, Ghana. This one-day session, sponsored jointly by ICMI and the Ghana Chamber of Mines, is for auditors and prospective auditors, personnel of companies that have signed or intend to sign up to the Code, and other parties that may have an interest in learning more about how the Code can be implemented and how it will be audited. The prime focus will be on auditing of gold mines, but cyanide transportation will also be addressed. The Workshop will be conducted by Norm Greenwald, Vice President of ICMI.
