ICMI Terminates Mercator Ghana Limited’s Participation in Cyanide Code Program for Failure to Pay Annual Fees

The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) announced today that Mercator Ghana Limited has been removed from the list of signatories to the International Cyanide Management Code (Cyanide Code) for failure to pay the required annual fees for calendar year 2012. The Cyanide Code is a voluntary industry program of best practice for companies involved in the production of gold using cyanide and companies producing and transporting this cyanide. Mercator Ghana Limited is a cyanide transporter operating in West Africa.
