On August 11, the International Cyanide Management Institute announced an extension of the audit deadline for operations designated for certification by the initial mining company signatory companies, which adopted the International Cyanide Management Code for Gold Mining in November 2005. However, the list of operations subject to the extension provided in our announcement incorrectly included Barrick Gold Corporation’s David Bell and Williams mines in Ontario, Canada. These mines are not designated for certification, and, therefore, are not subject to the extension.
