The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) will hold a training workshop on implementing and auditing the International Cyanide Management Code on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Lima, Peru. This one-day session is for auditors and prospective auditors, personnel of companies that have signed or intend to sign up to the Code, and other parties that may have an interest in learning more about how the Code can be implemented and how it will be audited. The prime focus will be on auditing of gold mines, but cyanide transportation will also be addressed. The Workshop will be conducted in Spanish by ICMI Board of Directors member Julio Bonelli.
