Updated Program Now Available for ICMI’s Accra Training Workshop

The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) today announced that an updated program is available for its Training Workshop in the Implementation and Auditing of the International Cyanide Management Code (Cyanide Code), to be held on July 16, 2013 in Accra, Ghana.  The updated program along with Workshop registration material can be accessed via this link.

This is the only in-person training that ICMI plans to conduct in the region through 2014.  Participants will learn about the Cyanide Code’s voluntary global program for use of best practices for cyanide management in the gold mining industry.  They will also hear from industry peers about the opportunities and challenges they faced in having their operations certified in compliance with the Cyanide Code.

Take advantage of this opportunity for in-person training on this important industry program.  Demand exceeded the capacity of the venue at the previous Cyanide Code Training Workshop in Accra in 2011, preventing many stakeholders from attending the event.  Space for the upcoming Workshop is limited once again, so please register now to assure your place.
