The International Cyanide Management Institute announced today that TLI Transportes SAC, a cyanide transporter operating in Peru, has voluntarily withdrawn as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code (Cyanide Code). The company became a signatory to Cyanide Code on June 15, 2012 and was certified under the Cyanide Code in November 2013 and recertified February 2017. The withdrawal is effective this date.
The Cyanide Code is a voluntary industry program for companies involved in the production of gold and/or silver using cyanide and companies manufacturing and transporting this cyanide.
