The Varvara Mine Supply Chain includes transportation of sodium cyanide from Dzerzhinsk rail station in the Russian Federation to Bataly rail station in the Republic of Kazakhstan through JSC Russian Railways in the Russian Federation, and JSC Kazakh Railways in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The shipping containers travel to the destination station without being unloaded. At Bataly Station, cyanide is offloaded by Varvara and transported by Varvara’s vehicles to the Varvara operation’s cyanide storage warehouse.
