Marigold began participation in the Cyanide Code program November 3, 2005. The Marigold Mine was initially certified in full compliance with the Cyanide code in January 2007 and was the first operating mine to be certified under the Cyanide Code. The Marigold Mine was recertified in January 2010 and in March 2013 while jointly owned by Barrick Mining Corporation and Goldcorp Inc., and was recertified in February 2016, November 2018, and in December 2021 under the signatory company Marigold Mining Company.
