PT Mitra Intertrans Forwarding Voluntarily Withdraws from the Cyanide Code Program

The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) announced today that PT Mitra Intertrans Forwarding has voluntarily withdrawn as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the Manufacture, Transport and Use of Cyanide in the Production of Gold (Cyanide Code). The Cyanide Code is a voluntary industry program for companies involved in the production of gold using cyanide and companies manufacturing and transporting this cyanide. PT Mitra Intertrans Forwarding is a cyanide transporter located in Indonesia.  The company became a signatory to the program in October 2015 and its operation was not certified in compliance with the Cyanide Code.
