PanTerra Gold Voluntarily Withdraws from Cyanide Code Program

The International Cyanide Management Institute announced today that PanTerra Gold Limited, a gold mining company based in Australia, has voluntarily withdrawn as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code (Cyanide Code), as use of cyanide has ceased at PanTerra’s certified Las Lagunas Gold Mine. PanTerra Gold became a signatory to the Cyanide Code on March 28, 2014, and the Las Lagunas Gold Mine was certified under the Cyanide Code in August 2016. The withdrawal is effective this date. The Cyanide Code is a voluntary industry program for companies involved in the production of gold and/or silver using cyanide and companies manufacturing and transporting this cyanide.
