The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) announced today that Nordic Mines AB, a gold mining company, has been removed as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code (Cyanide Code), and the company’s participation in the program terminated. To remain in good standing, signatories are required to pay annual fees to ICMI; Nordic Mines AB failed to pay its 2013 and 2014 signatory fees.  The company, which is based in Sweden, was a signatory of the Cyanide Code since August, 2011.
