The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) will hold a training workshop on implementing and auditing the International Cyanide Management Code on August 31, 2011 in Accra, Ghana. This one-day session, sponsored jointly by ICMI and the Ghana Chamber of Mines, is for auditors and prospective auditors, personnel of companies that have signed or intend to sign up to the Code, and other parties that may have an interest in learning more about how the Code can be implemented and how it is audited. The Workshop will be conducted by ICMI Vice President Norm Greenwald.
The venue for the Workshop will be announced shortly. Workshop participants will be responsible for their own lodging.
