Brasil Cielt Representações Comerciais Ltda. (Brasil Cielt), a cyanide transporter in Brazil, has informed the International Cyanide Management Institute of its voluntarily withdrawal as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the Manufacture, Transport and Use of Cyanide in the Production of Gold (Cyanide Code). Brasil Cielt joined the program on August 6, 2013. The company’s operation did not achieve Cyanide Code certification prior to its withdrawal, which is effective this date.
