AMA Guinée Withdraws as a Signatory to the Cyanide Code

AMA Guinée, a cyanide transporter in Guinea, has informed the International Cyanide Management Institute of its voluntarily withdrawal as signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the Manufacture, Transport and Use of Cyanide in the Production of Gold (Cyanide Code). AMA Guinée joined the program on June 9, 2014.  The company’s operation did not achieve Cyanide Code certification prior to its withdrawal, which is effective this date.
