The International Cyanide Management Institute (ICMI) announced today that Advanced AIRSEA Solutions (AIRSEA) has decided to withdraw as a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the Manufacture, Transport and Use of Cyanide in the Production of Gold (Cyanide Code). AIRSEA, a company based in the Czech Republic, became a signatory in February 2013 in the category of transporter/consignor of sodium cyanide for supply chains from the Czech Republic to various overseas destinations in Africa, Asia, and Central and South America. None of its supply chains advanced to Cyanide Code certification. This voluntary withdrawal is effective this date.
